The E4 Field Notes app makes it easy to record field inspection data about invasive grasses, insects, diseases, weather damage, crop deficiencies and more. When inspection details are recorded in a consistent manner over multiple trips to a field (e.g. pre- and post-herbicide application), users can clearly and precisely measure the advancement or suppression of problems.
E4 Field Notes is used in conjunction with E4 Crop Intelligence™, a cloud-based precision ag support platform that integrates services and technology into one cohesive solution. The E4 Field Notes app syncs with E4 Crop Intelligence™: it downloads key information about fields marked for inspection (seed types, pre- and post-emerge applications, accumulated growing degree days, and much more), and, in turn, uploads inspection data to facilitate subsequent crop planning. The app is designed for recording inspection data real-time in the field, and most features can be used with or without Internet connectivity (synchronization can be done anytime an Internet connection becomes available).
Features include:
- Easy-to-access field data (seed types, application details, weather data, etc.)
- Inspection trip metadata (date of inspection, start/end time, weather, temp, etc.)
- Tap-to-select observation details about invasive grasses, insects, diseases, weather damage and more
- Free-form text notes
- One-touch reproduction of observations from previous trips
